He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphis Roy and Georgina Salesse; and his brothers, Roland, Rheal and Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Roy (Graham); his children, Thomas Roy (Erica) and Jane Girard (Glen); his grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Mya and Ava; his sisters, Irene Landry (late Rodolphe) and Claudette Rousselle (Bert); and his sisters-in-law, Marguerite, Eleanor, Judy, Byrna, Lorna and Ruthie.
