He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Smith and Constance Smith (Skinner); and his brother Jim Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Travis Ruest (Grand Falls) and Chandler Smith of Fredericton, NB; and his sister Charlotte Gray of Birch Ridge, NB. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
