He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Mockler and Sadie Mockler (Bourgoin); his son Patrick; and his brothers, Richard and Elmer.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn (Howard); his sons, Michael (Cathy) of Fredericton and Thomas (Gabriella) of Moncton; and his granddaughter Michela of Moncton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
