He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Ashworth and Madeline Ashworth (Watson); his wife Molly Ashworth (Sadler); and his siblings, Claude, Cecil, Ralph, Kathleen McCue, Edith McGlynn, Alice Linton and Eileen Forbes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hugh Ashworth (Rosemary), Robert Ashworth of Vancouver Island, BC and Marguerite Cahoon of Florida; his sister-in-law Mary Ashworth of Fredericton; his children, Sheila Ashworth of Tantallon, Derek Ashworth (Lisa) of Anfield and Tara Lounsbery (Joseph) of Camden; and his grandchildren, Ainsley, Ashlyn, Jordan Baillie, Logan, Grace, Anna Ashworth, Nicholas and Matthew Lounsbery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
