He was predeceased by: his parent Lloyd Butland; his half-brother Lloyd; and his brothers, Eldon and Melvin. He is survived by: his parent Ruth Butland (Cahill); his wife Helen Butland (Alcorn); his children, Sheldon Butland (Shawna) of Riverview, Wendy Turpin (Garry) of Ottawa and Jennifer Steeves (Todd) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, David, Steven, Paul, Mark, Christine, Michael, Sara, Kortnie, Meaghan and Sherilynn; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Ashton, Preston, Jack, Landon, Blake and Jake; and his brother Russell of Alma. He is also survived by husband, father and grandfather.
