He was predeceased by: his parents, Georges Caissie and Alice Caissie; his son Yvon; his siblings, David, Irma (Willie), Omer (Géralda) and Ulysse; and his nephew Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Alma Caissie; his children, Bernice Gallant (Paul) of Cocagne, Francine McLaughlin (Gilbert) of Geary, Daniel Caissie (Denise) of Cocagne, Gisèle Caissie (Stephen) of Moncton and Monique Levert (François) of Shediac; his grandchildren, Kristelle (Marc), Mireille (Stéphane), Michelle (Matt), Monica, Luc (Erika), Mathieu (Juanita), Mario, Julie (Ryan) and Simon; his great grandchildren, Luca, Samuel and Malik; his siblings, Roger (Carmella), Georgeline (late Yvon), Gloria (late Emery), Normand (Thérèse) and Norma (Alain); his sisters-in-law, Elva and Florence; and his daughter-in-law Francine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
