He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gildart and Vera Gildart (Miller); and his siblings, Mary Laurel Scott, Margaret Scott, Gerald and Garfield.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Bourque; his children, Anita Miller (David), Marlene Knight (Brian) and Howard Gildart of Toronto, ON; his grandson Josh Miller (Kavya) of Dartmouth, NS.; his brother Osborne Gildart of Belledune, NB; and his brother-in-law Dave Scott of Bathurst, NB. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, special friends.
