He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Malcolm "Mac" Steeves and Martha Steeves; and his brother Sheldon. He is survived by: his significant other Tracey McKinley; his son Eric Steeves (Jessica); his granddaughter Macy of Australia; his sisters, Wanda Randall (Robby) of Hillsborough and Donna Steeves of Moncton; and his close friend Lisa Kaster of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and, friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Albert Mines Cemetery (389 Albert Mines Rd, Albert Mines, NB E4H1R4).
