He was predeceased by: his parents, Actua Collette and Marie Collette (Belliveau); his son Steve; his granddaughter Tiffany; and his siblings, Alvina, Alma and Eric.

He is survived by: his wife Viola (Doiron); his children, Kathy Randall (late Paul), Ronnie (Kim), Jim (Jacqueline) and Lori Doiron (Maurice); his grandchildren, Chad, Krystle, Deidra, James, Ashley, Julie, Sarah and Jennifer; his siblings, Adela Collette, Anita Cormier (late Prémélite), Catherine LeBlanc (Édouard), Ida Bourque, Gérald (late Lina), Alfred (Anita) and Ulysse (May); and his siblings-in-law, Jeannette Collette, Willie Robichaud and Donald LeBlanc. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
