He is survived by: his sons, Christian (Sara) and Stephan (Quinn); his grandchildren, Jorja, Jaclyn (Shirley Barca), Jolie, Zander and McCoy; his brother Heinz-Hermann Schubert (Angelika); his former wife Ingrid Rottger-Schubert; and also, Wendy Gingell (Eric Lazo), Rhonda Munteanu (Lyle) and Ulrike Lerche (Stefan).
