She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Shumyk; her siblings, Ella and Lucas; and her siblings-in-law, Mike (Paul) and Jessie (Josephine).
She is survived by: her children, Bernice Anne (Larry) and David Steven; her granddaughter Karen Rose; her great grandchildren, Drayson, Emily, Nolan and Hannah; her daughter Karen (Ervin); and her grandchildren, Shannon, Charisse (Tony) and Brent (April).
