He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shmigelski and Anna Shmigelski; and his brothers, Peter, Michael (Rosella) and Daniel.
He is survived by: his children, Joel and Nicole (Curtis); and his sister Olga Chukrowski (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
