He was predeceased by: his son John Paul; his parents, Georges Chaput and Amélie Chaput; his siblings, Marie Chaput, Hélène Vallée, Patricia Marcoux and Jean Chaput; his parents-in-law, Paul and Mary Moskalyk; and his brother-in-law Jerry Moskalyk.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sons, Thomas (Nadia) and Daniel (Lisa); his granddaughters, Tamara and Oksana; his brother Paul Chaput (Mimi); his in-laws, Micheline Chaput, Paul Marcoux, Armand Vallée (Anita) and Sophie Moskalyk; and his close friend Howard Holtman (Woodlands Caribou Park). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
