He was predeceased by: his children, Bruce and Lorraine; his former wife Margaret; his sister Trudy (Chuck Shaffer); and his parents, Stanley Reid and Elsie Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Forrest; his children, Richard (Wyona) of Alberta, Michael (Karen) of Australia and Nancy (Larry) of Winnipeg; his stepchildren, Philip (Irene) of Stonewall and Wendy of Winnipeg; his grandsons, Damon of Winnipeg, Denver and Bryce; and his great grandchild Ryker of Alberta. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada to honour Stan's memory.
