She was predeceased by: her husband Leslie; her son Wesley; her brother Bradley Thorarinson; her brother-in-law Kenneth Wilcox; and her parents, Stefan Thorarinson and Agnes Thorarinson.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Linda Kornik; her children, Wade Kornik and Christine Johnson (Neil); her grandchildren, Julien, Tanis (Trevor), Michelle, Aron (Carly), Elizabeth (Jordan), Kevin and Lex; her great grandchildren, Ayden, Ryley and Ryker; and her siblings, Norma Wilcox, Dorothy Charney (Lawrence) and Jonas Thorarinson.
