She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Morneau; her siblings, Joan Yarema and Edward Gagnon; and her parents, Joseph Gagnon and Lillian Gagnon.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Burdy (Sharon), Shelley Burdy-Brothers, Kerry Burdy (Areta Donnelly) and Colleen Coates (Mark); her brother Jim Gagnon (Betty); her grandchildren, Tim (Bless), Kyle (Alex), Jenna (Matthew), Jaquelyne, Sherry (Michael), Adam, Alyssa and Rebecca; and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Anakin, Hadley, Maddox, Leighton, Harper, Caine, Griffin, Ethan, Achilles and Jayden. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Vital Catholic Church (1629 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R3T2G6). A reception was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3).
