He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Rempel and Mary Rempel; and his brothers-in-law, Dietrich Warkentin and Edd Funk. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Funk, Betty Jansen (Arno), Susan Warkentin, Elsie Rempel (Peter) and Peter Rempel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
