We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2024, at the age of 90, Ruby Eileen Bennett (Winnipeg, Manitoba), born in Vancouver, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother George; her granddaughter Cara; her husband Dave Bennett; and her mother Vera. She is survived by: her children, Russell, Colleen (David), Bruce (Shawna), Sheila (Ron) and Kathy; her grandchildren, David (Lina), Natalie, Sean and Maggie; her sister Betty; and her friend Beth.
She shared her confident and kind smile always, be it at the start of her class, her presentations to the dreamers of faraway holidays, when thanking kind people for donations at the "Nearly New Shop" and when she debated on matters of politics.
