She is survived by: her children, Keith Merasty (Melissa), Grant Merasty, Brandon Scott (Shantel), Lucas Scott (Korilynn), Precious Everett and Brad Smith; her grandchildren, Keanna Rupert, Ryland Merasty, Kara Merasty, Trista Merasty, Styler Merasty, Leland Merasty, Laniah Merasty, Tatum Merasty and Teanna Merasty; her great grandchild Isaiah Xander Twoheart; and her siblings, Darlene McKay (Jimmy), Walter Everett (Elaine), Edwin Everett (Leona), Carla Merasty (Mugs), Rose McKay and Keesley Everett. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maranatha Evangelical Free Church (910 Sturgeon Rd, Winnipeg, MB R2Y0L2). A wake was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Eternal Grace Funerals (1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E1R1). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
