Peter Kwasnycia Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Kwasnycia (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on December 14, 2020 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter Kwasnycia to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Tilly; his parents, Harry Kwasnycia and Margaret Kwasnycia; and his sisters, Mae Oste and Virginia Ham.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Synyshyn (John) and Gregg Kwasny (Geraldine); his grandchildren, Andrew Synyshyn (Ashley Collier), Steven Synyshyn (Janelle Fillion), Melissa Grantham (Jeff) and Kevin Kwasny; his great grandchildren, Myla, Roman, Ruby Synyshyn and Leah Grantham; and his siblings, Jeanette Kwasny and Bill (Krystyna). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
To respect Covid-19 restrictions a funeral Mass will be live-streamed from St. Nicholas Monastery Chapel on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 7:00 PM.
Donations in Peter's memory can be made to the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Maintenance Fund or to the Lubov Foundation - Holy Family Home designation.
