Peter Kwasny Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Peter Kwasny (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away at the age of 95, on December 14, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Tilly; his parents, Harry Kwasnycia and Margaret Kwasnycia; and his sisters, Mae Oste and Virginia Ham.

He is survived by: his children, Margaret Synyshyn (John) and Gregg Kwasny (Geraldine); his grandchildren, Andrew Synyshyn (Ashley Collier), Steven Synyshyn (Janelle Fillion), Melissa Grantham (Jeff) and Kevin Kwasny; his great grandchildren, Myla, Roman, Ruby Synyshyn and Leah Grantham; and his siblings, Jeanette Kwasny and Bill (Krystyna). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

To respect Covid-19 restrictions a Funeral Mass will be live-streamed from St. Nicholas Monastery Chapel on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 7:00 p. m.

Donations in Peter's memory can be made to the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church Maintenance Fund or to the Lubov Foundation - Holy Family Home designation.
