She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Friesen and Elizabeth Friesen; and her brother Garry. She is survived by: her children, Tracy (Chris) and Andy (Christine); her grandchildren, Jackson, Sam, Lauren and Grace; her sisters, Marlene (Daryl) and Diana (Rick); her sister-in-law Edna; her nieces, Kristi, Jill, Erin and Kate; and her close friend Donna.

Due to Covid restrictions, a funeral will not be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, The Lung Association of Manitoba, or a charity of one's choice.
