Nick Lowen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nick Lowen (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Nick farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nick is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Justina. He is survived by: his children, Betty (Richard), Irmgard (Jake), Albert (Lorraine) and Harry (Michelle); and his brother Hank (Diane). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Springfield Heights Mennonite Church (570 Sharron Bay S, Winnipeg, MB R2G0H9). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens (4477 Main St, West Saint Paul, MB R4A4A7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee.
