He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris McKay and Annie McKay; his sisters, Toots, Gladys and Angelique Chartier; and his nephews, Shab, Jordan Belcourt and Craig Swan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Viola McKay, Marlene Swan (Allan), Kim McKay "Sissy", Glenda Chartier, Lorraine Muskego, Darcy McKay (Angela) and George McKay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cropo Funeral Home (1442 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2W3V7). A prayer was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM. A wake was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Roman Catholic Hall.
