It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Cooper (Winnipeg, Manitoba), born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William; her siblings, Elsie and Harvey; and her parents, William Tumak and Sadie Tumak.

She is survived by: her children, Rodney, Cherylene Robson (Vince), Tim (Kelly), Darren (Nancy) and Brenda Hanchard (Jevan); her grandchildren, Thomas, Shawn, Sharlee Lovelace (Keith), Charles, Danielle, Ashleigh, Bailey, Haley, Ivan and Tana; her great grandchildren, Finlee and Hunter; and her siblings, Elmer, Tony, John, Merv, Grace and Janet. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

They also kept in touch after retirement, going to lunches with the other retired nurses. I remember Mary as being a friendly giving person. Sorry to hear of your loss. “Dear Sheryln, Rodney, Tim, Darren and Brenda We were so saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. She was such a vital, energetic person who always seemed to have a smile on her face. Merv has many happy memories of her when they were kids at home. One of them was when he and your mom were arguing over who would drive somewhere. Merv lost the argument so Mary got to drive. However, the roads were not the greatest and somehow your Mom managed to tip the truck on its side. Cherish her memory”
