She was predeceased by: her husband John Borowiec; her sister Jean; her brother-in-law Vance Kuzia; her son-in-law Chester Tabor; her parents, Stanley Slusarczyk and Victoria Slusarczyk; and her siblings, Millie Karan, Joan Tyo, Ted and Henry Slusarczyk.

She is survived by: her children, Carol (Lyall) and Dave (Joanne); her grandsons, Jason (Megan) and Scott (Kate); her great grandchildren, Brooke and Peyton; and her sister Josie Rosolowich (Eddie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
