He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna and Howard; his stepmother Sunny; and his wife Ruby (Hopkins). He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Pusnik (Dave); his grandchildren, Dana and Ryan; his sister Lynda Jansen; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Maslechko (John), Liz Hopkins, Rick Hopkins (Sharron) and John Hopkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; cousins; aunts and uncles.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial will be planned at a later date with further details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, Dad would have loved if you poured a rum and seven and listened to, "I've Been Everywhere" by Hank Snow in his honour.
