He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sawatzky and Maria Sawatzky (Harder). He is survived by: his children, Roland (Anikó) and Diana (Andy); his grandchildren, Oskar, Alma and Delta; and his former spouse Mathilde. He is also survived by his many siblings, nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Charleswood Mennonite Church (699 Haney St, Winnipeg, MB R3R0Y7).
