As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Anne Jakymeczko; and her stepfather Dmytro Jakymeczko. She is survived by: her daughters, Jo-Anne Cushon (Ian), Molly Hochbaum and Susan Hochbaum; her grandchildren, Liam and Anna; her son-in-law Lawrence Levy; her adoptive daughter Korri Scott; and her former husband Albert Hochbaum.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the E. J. Coutu Funeral Chapel (680 Archibald St, Winnipeg, MB R2J0Y4).
