It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Elizabeth Dowd of Winnipeg, Manitoba, born in Graysville, Manitoba, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cliff Dowd of Glenboro; her daughter Marlene; her daughter-in-law Maureen Dowd; her brother Lawrence; and her sisters-in-law, Hazel Skeavington and Laura Skeavington.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Dowd (Araina) of Winnipeg, MB, Shirley Proudley (Dan) of Winnipeg, MB and Kelvin Dowd of Winnipeg, MB; her grandchildren, Trevor (Alicia), Paul (Laura), Michael and Tasha; her great grandchild Brielle; and her brother Don Skeavington of Carman, MB. She is also survived by relatives & friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro Email (415 Broadway St, Glenboro, MB R0K0X0).
