She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Gerstner and Martha Gerstner; her siblings, William Gerstner and Marta Larson; and her former husband Frank Masek.
She is survived by: her husband Rudolf Franz; her brother Anthony Gerstner (Elena); and her children, Marilyn Goodman (Lloyd), Richard Masek (Shirley), Frank Masek (Cathy), Clifford Maschek and Unfortunately. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grand children.
A Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (355 Andrews St, Winnipeg, MB R2W4T5). Unfortunately, Covid happened just as she was admitted which was followed by lockdowns.
