We bid farewell to Maria Derksen (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 2, 2024 at the age of 95. Maria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob Derksen; her son Hari; her parents, Franz Goossen and Catarina Goossen; and her grandson Daniel Derksen.

She is survived by: her children, Herman Derksen (Lourdes), Hedi Kasdorf (Hans) and Rosemari Matias (Reinaldo); her grandchildren, Jim, Dennis, Elizabeth, Vivian and Fabiane; and her great grandchildren, Elise, Niamh, Donovan, Emerson, Avery, Claire, Jillian, Grace, Olivia, Alex, Mateo, Adalyn and Riley.
