Marc Lafournaise Obituary

In loving memory of Marc Lafournaise (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who departed this world on April 21, 2025 at the age of 55. Marc leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Donald; and his father-in-law Anton Babiak. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Babiak); his son Tyden; his stepdaughter Megyn Cordner; his parents, Jean Lafournaise and Jocelyne Lafournaise; his siblings, Daniel (Carrie) and Micheline Stone; his mother-in-law Krystyna Babiak; and his siblings-in-law, Andrew Babiak (Kathy) and Joanne Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church (500 Lagimodiere Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R2J4J1). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
