She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Doerksen and Maria Doerksen; and her husband Harry. She is survived by: her brother Walter; her children, Edith, Ossama, Harry, Elke, Val, Louise and Gary; her grandchildren, Anna, Hassan, Sarah (Emmanuel), Lara (Ryan), Shayna (Mark), Jeremy (Robin) and Michael (Caitlin); and her great grandchildren, Henry, Bennett, Misha, Hayley, Avery and Lenaya. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.

Her sweet comments and encouragement meant a lot to me. I spoke with manja only a few weeks prior to her passing. What a joy and blessing that was. Her desire that our lord jesus christ would take her to her heavenly home is now complete. Rest in peace my love. George & ruth siemens st. Albert, ab.”
