He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Rosemary Assiniboine, Eliza Longclaws and Clifford George Chaske; and his great-grandparents, Dan, Flora Assiniboine, George, Barbara Woods, Harry, Winona Chaske of Sioux Village, Jerry and Clara Longclaws.

He is survived by: his parents, Del Assiniboine and Janet Longclaws; his daughter Autumn Raine Assiniboine; his brother Shaun Michael Assiniboine; his nephew Shantih Victor Cameron Assiniboine; and his friend Coral Kwitecki. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Eternal Grace Funeral Home (1111 Logan Ave #10, Winnipeg, MB R3E1P9).
