We bid farewell to Leonora (Fast) Wiebe (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Leonora touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Abram (Abe); her parents, John K Fast and Katharina Fast; her brothers, Walter and John; and her grandmother Uroma (Tante).
She is survived by: her children, David (Angela), Lisa (Wilfried Teichroeb) and Karen (Brad Street); her grandchildren, Gabrielle (Stephen Bishop), Brendan (Maral), Olivia (Owen Baerg), Matthew (Jasmine), Layla (Thomas Guenther), Alex (Izabela), Tyler (Mackenzie) and Jasmine (Josh Sawatzky); her great grandchildren, Wren, Ezekiel, Kinsely, Aria, William, Ellis, Nicholas, Azalea and Benjamin; and her sisters-in-law, Helen (Walter) and Genieve (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Kildonan Mennonite Church (1131 Roch St, Winnipeg, MB R2G1S1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
