Katherine Dubyk Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, Katherine Dubyk (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ivan Dubik and Ahafia Terebenetz; her siblings, Maria, Parania, Slavko, Oleksa and Dmytro; her husband Ivan Dubik of Cetulia; her children, Marika, Myroslava and Irene; her grandchildren, Oleh, Orest, Olenka, Adrian and Andrij; her nieces and nephews, Lesia Dubik, Johnny and Myron Kuryliw; her close friend Lilia; and also Parania. She was also cherished by her many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A prayer will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Korban Funeral Chapel (907 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2W3P2). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (737 Bannerman Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2X1J9). After COVID and with failing mobility, she moved to the Holy Family Home where she played competitive Bingo, enjoyed clergy visits and celebrated her 99th, 100th and finally 101st Birthdays.
