He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol; his parents, Josaphat Fredette and Dorothée Fredette (Laroche); his siblings, Lucien (Alice), Paul (Fern), Victor (Yvonne), Bertha Wilson (Jim), Cécile Bergeron (Gustave) and Annette; and his nephews, Blake Fredette and John Ellison.
He is survived by: his wife Astrid; his sons, Michael (Brenda Antonation) and Gregory (Nora Nordin); his great grandchildren, Charlene Kaminski (Isabelle), Jason Fredette (Theodore), Tyler Fredette (Amanda), Leanne Fredette, Samantha Fredette and Emily Fredette; his stepchildren, Janine Arnaud-Kamenz (Justin) and Marc Arnaud; his sisters, Denise Fredette, Louise Ellison (Eric) and Ida Savoie (Aimé); and his sister-in-law Marguerite Fredette.
Due to COVID 19, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
