He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gnutel and Michalena Gnutel; his parents-in-law, Walter and Mary Makowsky; his siblings, Peter, William, Mary, Jean and Josie; and his siblings-in-law, Frank, John, Nick, Paul, Eileen and Dena.
He is survived by: his wife Iris of Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church; his sons, David (Genia) and Michael (Mary); his daughter-in-law Michelle; his grandchildren, Alexis (Daniel), Daria (Chad), Joshua (Ulana), Greg (Jenny), Matthew (Susan), Stephen (Allison), Luke (Amanda) and Amy; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Isabella, Emma, Madeline, Sophia, Maritza, Aubrey, Leon, William, Aiden, Henry, Leo and Owen; and his siblings, Walter, Alex (Alycia), Alice, Don (Betty) and Audrey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
