He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacques Mireault and Yvonne Mireault; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his sisters, Jacqueline, Dolorès and Rachel; his sisters-in-law, Audrey and Yvette; his brothers, Bernard, Raymond and Michel; his brothers-in-law, Denis Fontaine and Germain Sicotte; and his nieces and nephews, Carmen, Nicole, Rhéanne, Marc, Patrick, Nathalie, Stéphane, Amanda, Jacques, Francine, Alexandre and Chantelle.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean-Claude may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Winnipeg Clubhouse.
