He was predeceased by: his former wife Bertha Grieger; his wife Johanna Koch; his parents, Johann and Anna (Tiedele); his sisters, Alma Tasler and Klara Juerges; and his niece Gisela Kennett (Tasler).
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Otto and Waltraud Grieger; his nephews, Michael, Robert (Noreen) and Peter (Leslie); his niece Susanne Sanders (Peter); his great-nephews, Tanner and Connor; his niece Rosie Tasler; his great-niece Tanya; his nephew Stephen Makowe; his niece Angelica Makowe; his great-nieces, Denise, Angela and Nicole; and his sister Erika (Herbert Flade).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Klassen Funeral Home (1897 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R2G3E6).
