It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helga Guenter (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on April 18, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helga Guenter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jakob Goerz and Katja Goerz; her brothers, Manfred and Dietmar Goerz; her aunt Mary (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Reinhold Epp, Len Janzen, Frank Enns and Maria Epp.
She is survived by: her husband Wilhelm; her son Jon; her granddaughters, Eryn and Abby; her daughter Monica; her grandson Rockland; her adoptive parent Wei; her siblings, Eckhard (Joyce), Ingrid (John), Anne, Paul (Heidi), Harry (Delores), Emily, Bill, Katie (Gerhardt) and Irene; and also JJ.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church (926 Garfield St N, Winnipeg, MB R3E2N6). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church Cemetery (926 Garfield St N, Winnipeg, MB R3E2N6).
