Harold Richard Howden Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2020, at the age of 87, Harold Richard Howden (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Power Howden and Odile Marie Howden; his brothers, Dr. Robert Lorimer Howden (Lorie), John Stuart Howden, James Howden (Jimmy) and Gerald Howden (Gerry); and his former wife Lillian Caroline Howden (Carol).

He is survived by: his wife Kathryn (Kate); his children, John Howden, Kathleen Lebar (Mario) and Elizabeth Howden (Beth); his grandchildren, Samantha Howden, Sophia Lebar, James Lebar, Fiona Lebar and Keara Howden; and his nephew Dr. Richard Howden. He is also survived by many in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities or to Connect Employment Services which is an agency that provides community-based supports for handicapped persons.
