He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schinkel and Jean Schinkel; and his brother Ken. He is survived by: his wife Colette; his children, Adam (Tricia) and Justine (Eddie); his grandchildren, Austin, Emory, Carter, Kolton and Olivia; his brother Brian (Maria); his brothers-in-law, Guy (Chippy), Mike (Susan) and Jim; his niece Samantha; and his close friend Larry (Tammy).
