He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Byron, Arden (Monique), Karen (Chris) and Kelly; his grandchildren, Daniel (Stef), Heather, Alyse, Tyler (Brandy), Katie (Rob), Bev (Anastasio), Bryce (Vannessa) and Brittney (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Zoe, Lucy, Ava, Anna, Owen, Athos and Scarlett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Garry's name, to either the Winnipeg Humane Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Alzheimer Society (Manitoba).
