He was predeceased by: his wife Antonia; and his siblings, Andreas and Christine. He is survived by: his children, Mario (Debby), Nancy (Trevor) and Ramona (Carl); his friend Margret; his siblings, Maria and Mathias; and his stepchildren, Peter, Bernhard (Anna), Gabriele (Dominic) and Barbara (Craig). He is also survived by nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and Germany, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
