She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac J. Warkentin and Mary; and her siblings, Helen and Alfred. She is survived by: her brother John (Germaine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Friends Funeral Service (2146 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2V3S5). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the arts and cultural organizations Winnie championed: the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Manitoba Opera, and Winnipeg Public Library.
