He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorraine Anne Lepp; his daughter Karen Schroeder (Chris); his grandchildren, Micah, Abigail, Joel and Jordan; his son Richard Bergmann (Diane); his grandchildren, Kayla (Micah), Nathan and Matthew; his daughter Janice Schmidtke (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Aaron, Elise and Cora; his daughter Elaine Johnson (Neil); his grandchildren, Breanna, Sophie, Peyton, Scarlett and Maddox; and his parents, Alfred Bergmann and Justina Bergmann of Glenlea, Manitoba..

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whyte Ridge Baptist Church (2405 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3Y1G6).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eric's memory to Canadian Food Grains Bank or Cancer Care Manitoba.
