He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Coutu and Orize Coutu; and his brother Roger Coutu. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Harju (Timo) and Edward Jr. (Alexandra); the mother of his children Maria Coutu; his grandchildren, Erik, Markus, Edward Jr. and Sasha; and his sisters, Mary Jane of British Columbia and Louise of British Columbia.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Parish (820 Cottonwood Rd, Winnipeg, MB R2J1G1). A reception was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Coutu Funeral Home (680 Archibald St, Winnipeg, MB R2J0Y4).
