He was predeceased by: his parents, Israel Desrochers and Celende Desrochers; his siblings, Guy, Thomas, Rita and Marie-Ange; his parents-in-law, Victor and Suzanne Buydens; and his sister-in-law Rita Goderis.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Buydens; his children, Lianne Picton (Richard), Marc Desrochers (Lise) and Dean Desrochers (Jenn); his grandchildren, Dylan (Jessica), Logan (Alixe), Taryn, Ariel, Neiva, Jett, Reeve and Van; his great grandchild Maëlle; his siblings, Flora Poirier (John), Tony (Germaine), Cecile Labossiere (Norbert), Lucien (Terry) and Clement (Marilyn); and his parents-in-law, Eddie Goderis, Cecile Desrochers and Laurent Girouard.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Manitoba and Winnipeg.
